(ThyBlackMan.com) When the subject “Greatest Rappers of All Time” is brought up, in hip hop publications, Eminem’s name is never left out. He is praised for grit, lyricism, and delivery. Hip hop seems to doing something many are not too sure they like, however one can only wonder what Eminem is up to now. If he comes out with another album, which I know many fans anticipate, will he still be a beast? Like, what will fuel his pen this time? Many fans know of Eminem’s life struggles through his music, or the movie 8mile. But one can only wonder how potent he will be since life has seemed to calm down.

I don’t believe Eminem will ever succumb to the foolishness calledeminem2016-2017 rap music that we are hearing from a lot of new artist. But I must say, y’all as a woman I hope for once he might have some outlook on love that isn’t dark…or attached to his past. Let’s just be real for a moment…Eminem can still be a beast, and show us a different side of him. Hell, just about every hardcore hip hop great has done so. No matter how dark or deep the artist there is always something for the ladies. Even DMX had “How’s It Going Down”…so Eminem what’s the hold up.

Granted he is great, but there are a few listener’s out there that would not give Eminem G.O.A.T. status. We know he has developed characters such as Slim Shady, but it can be argued that his delivery is simply ok. The lyrics are crafted well, but the content is repetitious. Eminem it’s time for some fresh lyrics from a fresh place. The greats can take us many places while remaining true to their core. They tend to be able to address whatever is current in the streets, state and nation. Basically, they can speak to both hood and social climate. There is so much going on in the world, and I personally would love to hear what Eminem thinks over a fire track.

The argument can go on for days, but the majority will put Eminem among the greats. We know he has a switch in him that is beast mode. He has destroyed rappers on their own songs so we know it’s there. The question is will he transcend what he has already accomplished. Is he Still the beast?
