(ThyBlackMan.com) The relationship of Rihanna and Drake have been a point of gossip for long enough. The two seemingly have been in an on-off relationship for quite some time now. Rihanna / Drake have worked together as collaborators in some of their most noted creations and they have been often coated as more than just “Friends”.
As far as the history of this relationship goes, the first meeting of Rihanna and Drake was in the month of May, 2009. The duo hooked up at the famous New York bowling alley Lucy Strike. Later on drake rapped about that first date on “Fireworks”. In 2009, Rihanna clearly mentioned in a radio interview that the two are just friends. However, by early January, 2010 Drake seemed to kind of admit 
that the two were “kind of” dating.
Then came the “What’s My Name” video from Rihanna where the two were seen pretty close together and the on-screen chemistry was something that made us interested about what was really going on behind the scenes. The “Made Men” released in 2011 was like a clear indication by Drake that he has seriously fallen for the girl. However, by the mid of 2012, the first time in Rihanna / Drake “relationship” things seem to go wrong, when Chris Brown again started seeing Rihanna, which was also the real reason behind the night club fracas between Brown and Drake as admitted by Drake later on. All this while, Rihanna seemed to just ignore Drake.
Things seemed to settle down between the two by the end of 2013, when Drake made it clear that he has only support and love for RihRih. The reconciliation of Rihanna / Drake became apparent in May, 2015 when Rihanna was spotted with Drake at the backstage after Drake’s Coachella performance. In January, 2016 the two were spotted shooting a music video together, which was later disclosed by Rihanna to be the first single of her upcoming album “ANTI”.
After the video of “Work” came out on February 22nd the duo were seento be closer than ever and the on- the- camera chemistry was enough to indicate “Something was back”. Just on the next day after the release of “Work” the pair was seen leaving the Libertines nightclub, London, together. Then it was the hugely rumored BRITs performance on 24th of the month where Rihanna / Drake actually shocked the viewers by their racy performance.
So, yes the two are again back together, and though nothing has been confirmed yet, things can be actually serious this time.
