(ThyBlackMan.com) Blue Ivy Carter is putting more c0racks in the internet. Of course, the curly head cutie came into the world causing a bit of an uproar as mother Beyonce and father Jay Z dropped $1.3 million to rent out the wing of Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital. It has been said extra security and privacy efforts were made with the million plus dollar rental fee which included putting bullet proof glass in the nursery as well as a security team. Unfortunate for the ordinary babies born in the hospital that day, as many weren’t allowed to have many visitors and in one case, even a father was denied access to the hospital wing.

At two days old, Blue Ivy Carter was the youngest person to ever hit the Billboard charts when her father, rapper Jay Z released a song titled “Glory” which spoke of the couple’s pregnancy struggles and included Blue Ivy crying at the eblue-ivy-carter-superbowl-picture-2016nd. Of course, Jay Z credited B.I.C (Blue Ivy Carter) on the album so her royalty checks are likely to be rolling in already.

I’m sure we’re all aware of the Blue Ivy hair petition started by Jasmine Toliver who felt young Blue was suffering from lack of hair moisture which caused matted dreads and lint balls. Toliver’s petition had nearly 4,000 signatures although the creator later stated the petition was a joke. Through it all Blue Ivy Carter has continued to thrive serving up her sassy and fierce personality in every picture she’s been in. At only 4 years old, Blue Ivy has sparked debates between adult women regarding the natural hair care treatments and styles not only for children, but adults as well.

What I admire most about Beyonce and Jay Z parenting style is that each time I’ve seen Blue Ivy she’s actually looked her age. Even more importantly, Blue looks as though she’s enjoying life. Her most recent appearance in “Formation” which Beyonce just released on Tidal Saturday, February 6th proves just this. As her mother sings in the hook “I like my baby hair with baby hair and afros” and of course Blue Ivy is playing in the video with two other little girls dressed in white dresses.

The symbolism in the video is more than entertaining with a young black boy in a hoodie dancing in front of police officers, police going underwater while laying on top of a police car, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and through it all, there is Blue Ivy Carter looking like a typical 4 year old girl, with a head full of curly tresses and a pose to live for.

Blue Ivy Carter is growing up before our eyes!
