(ThyBlackMan.com) When Nicki Minaj came out of her 12 year long relationship with Safaree Samuels in last November and fall for her now boyfriend Meek Mill we had certainly thought it to be another short lived relationship in the hip hop world. But now after covering around a year, the duo seems to have going strong.
Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj is surely the most controversial couple in the hip hop world and let us also point out to the fact that Meek has a less than perfect public image. However, that does not seem to have affected Nicki Minaj’s feeling for him.
As revealed by Nicki, in a GQ interview, she fell for Meek when he
was still in the jail. In this regard let us note that it was gun and drug charges that put Meek behind the bars at the first place. So, when the relationship of the duo came into light it was not only the fans of Nicki but also her mother, who was worried.
Meek Mill is surely not the nice boy type; he has bad mouthed his probation officer and prosecutor poorly on his Twitter account which certainly did not make a good impression for him. He also posted a picture on Instagram posing with a gun, which later was described by his lawyer as only a prop. However, even after all that Nicki Minaj nothing less but head over hills in love with Meek, and the relationship seems not to have hit a bad patch yet.
In the last week of September, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj opened up about their relationship in an interview with the GQ magazine. Nicki told it clearly that when the couple is not physically together, they actually long to see each other again and the part of Meek that she likes most is that, Meek Mill makes her feel that it is just fine to be herself, as a women and also as an artist.
The relationship between Drake and Nicki might have been sizzling at some time, but now she truly seems to have moved on. However, the beef between Drake and Meek Mill is still there, but we hope to see it dissolved sometime soon.
