(ThyBlackMan.com) The nominations for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2016 are out and Janet Jackson, the popular American singer, cum actress and song writer has made it to the list of nominees again. The list of the 15 potential honorees include names like Cheap Trick, the Cars, Deep Purple, Chicago, N.W.A, the Smiths and others; and most interestingly, 8 of the 15 are the first time entrants.
Janet Jackson is one of the only two solo performs in the list of nominees and the other one is the Funk legend Chaka Khan. Even this time the Hall of Fame could not go beyond the common complain that it favors the newer acts more.
Janet is amongst one of the most successful performers in the history of Billboard chart and she has actually helped to lay the pop world the way it is now. She has already sold over 160million records across the world and her 11th studio album, “Unbreakable” is expected to break all the records again. Janet Jackson does not
