(ThyBlackMan.com) Donald Trump’s political ascendancy has less to do with him and more to do with the Republican electorate’s total disillusionment with the lack of leadership coming from our congressional leadership.

All of a sudden, along comes Donald Trump speaking a language the Republican base understands—English!

In my view, Trump, Carly Fiorina, and Chris Christie are the only Republicans that are speaking to the American people in a manner that they can understand.  The rest of the field speaks in “politicaleeze.”

The American people want someone like a Christie who will look them straight in the eye and give a direct answer to their question.

Far too many candidates, both Democrats and Republicans, spend too much time poll testing and focus grouping everything and every issue.

This brings me back to Donald Trump.  Whatever you think about him, he spoke the truth about the state of illegal immigration; and yes his language was extremely hyperbolic and way over the top.  Yes, he could have made the same point without the incendiary GOP-wins-2014language; but nonetheless, he has caused a tectonic shift in the debate over sanctuary cities.

Donald Trump has managed to tap into voter angst and their economic insecurity.  So, Republicans should stop fretting so much about how Trump hurt the feelings of Hispanics and deal with the issue he has brought to the forefront of the political landscape.

If our congressional leaders would spend more time promoting the conservative agenda that they ran on last year versus giving Obama victories in trade and amnesty, then a person like Trump would have absolutely no political traction whatsoever.

In many ways, Donald Trump is the Frankenstein that our congressional leadership has created by their lack of any bold legislative action that they promised Republican voters during the 2014 elections.

They told the voters last year that if you give them control of the House and Senate, they would block Obama’s amnesty—they caved; they would reign in federal spending—they caved; they would pass a strong boarder enforcement bill—they got amnesia.

Republican leadership thought these issues would just magically disappear or that the Supreme Court would save them from having to do their jobs; they were very wrong on both counts.

The next U.S. president will be the candidate who can speak directly to the American people in very simplistic language about their vision for the country on issues like immigration, ISIS, the domestic and foreign economy, values, how to manage the growing diversity of our country, etc.

So, as opposed to criticizing Donald Trump, shut him up by addressing the issues he is talking about.  Granted, his answers/solutions are extremely sophomoric; but at least he is addressing issues the American people care about in a language they understand.

The same thing can be said about Vermont senator, Bernie Sanders.  You write him off at your own peril.  He is tapping into the same frustration and disillusionment on the Democratic side that Donald Trump is tapping into on the Republican side.

It was sad watching Hillary Clinton’s interview with CNN last week.  She is quite good at talking without saying anything.

But I am getting this same eerie feeling that I got in 2007—2008 when Hillary acted as though winning the Democratic primary was a foregone conclusion.  The amount of arrogance she and her campaign are showing is astonishing.

Sanders will continue to provide a vigorous challenge to Hillary from the left and then I expect Vice President Joe Biden to enter the race because of the disillusionment from their party’s base.

So the takeaway from Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders is quite simple.  People want to be talked to in a language that they can understand.  They want specific answers to the problems facing Americans, no more broad, vague, undecipherable talk.

The American electorate is afraid about their future and needs and wants a presidential candidate who is going to reassure them that their future will be alright under their leadership.

Sometimes candidates need to get rid of their pollsters and just talk to the American people from their hearts about the values and the vision they have for the country.

So, Donald Trump is not the problem with the Republican Party; it is the seeming inability of Republicans to connect with the American people about how they are going to solve the many problems facing America.

The Don is definitely a wild card but I’ve always liked his style. Although Carly would rule Hillary in any debate, I still have a soft spot for “The Hill”.

@DaveFrancis & @Ray Ray….. BYEE yall two know enough about politics and elections to know right now we are in the Litmus test portion of the party. The American people are taking part in a study to see what exact type of dummy you love. Remember the choice you had in Obama’s first term… McCain or Obama after Bush drove us to a bad place… Really Repub’s thats the best you got after 8 years of war a war hawk… who by the way snitched when he got caught in his military duty… Yea pretty obvious choice.

The Illusion of Choice at its finest…

Yes Hillary will win and they will tell you how great the economy is doing thanks to Bill & Hill. Look for the rewrite on student loans and “turning up” the housing sector. I can’t wait for Hillary and Bill, but my fear is what life will be like after her (ying & yang in life or 7 yr cycles…i digress)

  3. IF TRUMP just sticks with the illegal immigration issue it’s a sure win for him, because between now a election time there will be countless more victims of crimes committed by OBAMA’S illegals , if he can get those families to stand with him and link black unemployment with the number of illegals in the country he will be president!

Mark my words, there is no way Donald Trump will be president – and we better hope he does not win. A president in today’s world cannot be a bully as the United States has been in the past. Our country is faced with more terrorists and cyber threats than ever before. There are people from this country even leaving to join ISIS.

The next president will have to be both strategic and tactful, diplomatic yet strong, discretionary and a wise negotiator. He cannot be abrasive like Donald Trump. Attitudes like his could easily have gotten us into a war during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Donald Trump is a business man but politics is a much different game. And if he tried to act the way he does in business, he would find resistance from his own party and the democrats.

He is also flip floppy. He was a democrat just a few years ago. His positions like Pro Choice are not conservative and the list goes on. WAKE UP PEOPLE. Not to mention, all partisan politics aside, he cannot beat Hillary.

The press outreach hearsay on Donald Trump is garbage they throw out say there no parallel between illegal immigration and crime. Trump, when permitted to counter, has done his best to respond to this vicious replies but his message has gotten lost in the usual repudiation and is now resounding around our sovereign nation. Whether it’s Macy’s, NASCA or an allotment of dissimilar personalities such as David Letterman? Trump brushes it away like lint on an expensive suit. The Liberal, Democrats and even the GOP hierarchy in the press releases don’t care if billionaire is ‘correct in his facts or not’ they just want to attack everything he says, except for Senator Ted Cruz, who has shown his own sense of devotion to the people. Watched and listened to a new arrival to the crowded race to the presidency. Scott Walker and I was elated of his first appearance, but unless I missed it nothing about the illegal immigration invasion?

For me, the whole thing smells as a conspiracy with an underhanded motive. If you enter Mexico without permission; you’re end up behind a prison door. No nation smacks you on the wrist and releases back on the street. Only in America is entry is not classed as a felony, but a CIVIL misdemeanor. But even that is a crime, but in America it really carries no sting. It’s an assault on the logical, which proves to me it’s been arranged that way to gain millions of cheap labor workers for Industry, business and corporations. And for the chamber of the left, an unlimited supply of new voters; overwhelming the election halls with fraudulent votes—hedged on by the Democratic zealots.

But even if the press is right about connection, it doesn’t change any of the essential fact: That ANY crime committed by an illegal alien is one too many. Kate Steinle would be alive today if it weren’t for either party’s feeble approach towards deportation and border security under Obama’s rules. This President has made it extremely difficult for the US Border Patrol or ICE to carry out their duties, with stealth orders to give foreigners special treatment; and from afar they have heard that immigration enforcement is down and if you can reach America, the streets are paved with welfare gold, significantly so if you are pregnant and ready to birth another ‘Anchor Baby’.

They are fully aware once here you are unlikely to be deported, owing to the having a baby gives you the same benefits as citizens, who have paid into the system since they began work. If revitalizing the border or a giant wall that Donald Trump has pledged to complete, then saving even one innocent life annually; a mammoth task is more than worth it. But additionally the ‘Anchor Baby’ syndrome will be cut back. Then immigration will only have to contend with the 40 percent those who enter legally, overstay the ports of entry visas, including airport terminals as fraudulent tourists.

Of course, a strong wall and a rational policy on immigration would save thousands of American lives. According to the (CIS) Center for Immigration Study, http://www.cis.org/ more than 8,000 illegal aliens were released from custody by self-styled sanctuary cities in a single eight-month period in 2014. 8,000 cases that reflect the one that led to Steinle’s tragic murder on a San Francisco pier. Among those 8,000 were felons committing crimes from home invasions, women and child molestations and even homicides.

In 2013, ICE freed 36,007 convicted criminal illegal aliens from detention who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings, according to a document obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies. This group included aliens convicted of hundreds of violent and serious crimes, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. The list of crimes also includes more than 16,000 drunk or drugged driving convictions. The document reveals that the 36,007 convicted criminal aliens freed from ICE custody in many instances had multiple convictions. Among them, the 36,007 had nearly 88,000 convictions; with 193 homicide convictions, (including one intractable killing of a public official with gun) (CIS Data).

When even Hillary Clinton is forced to criticize sloppy policies on immigration, they know they have gone too far. That’s nothing new for a city of San Francisco Liberal municipal government, but that is only one of 200 cities in the United States, that refuse to cooperate with immigration authorities which seems utterly ridiculous? How can a city ignore federal Rule of Law, as annotated in the Federal Registry? Residents and tourists of those cities are being put at risk by lowly local authorities who put the safety of illegal aliens above the security of real American citizens. If that sounds arcane, welcome to the new era. Political Correctness has become overpowering and an insult to us all. Since President Obama took office; nothing makes much sense anymore with law or the US Constitution.

The families of Kate Steinles, Jamiel Shaw Jr., Sabine Durden, Don Rosenberg, Lupe Moreno, and Brenda Sparks, all who have lost loved ones, which should never, ever happened. Why are Americans not demanding answers from the Senate and House lawmakers? How many innocent lives must be taken before career politicians of both parties realize the damage they’re doing to our country? Or is it they don’t care. Remember all of them have enormous power and their wealthy benefactors have red hot lines directly to their offices and piles of cash. Except mega corporation can buy their loyalty from Trump, as it’s always been since the beginning of Congress. The people come second. With illegal immigration it isn’t about Donald Trump, because the shadow government of organizations as the US Chamber of Commerce doesn’t have enough money to buy his loyalty. Nobody has any influence and power over him. They just want an endless supply of discount labor for big business and the unknown numbers of employers. Sanctuary Cities should be rescinded and any person from the Mayor down should be going to prison. But like the bloated number of federal elected, state and local employees they are never held accountable. Those few politicians, who try to reign in the waste and corruption, find themselves hidden on some mean less committee or friendless.

What other country would put the lives of foreign invaders above the lives of their own citizens? It’s absurd. But in the interests of appearing ever more progressive, U.S. Democrats have adopted just such a policy and the blame rises to his majesty Obama by trying to force amnesty down the throats of taxpayers. Nor should the Republicans get of free, for not calling them out the issue. Unfortunately, both parties want something and the American people are handed the bill. This is a crisis too serious to become a political sideshow. Every day, illegal from Mexico, South America, and all over the world is a giant stampede through our poorly constructed border. A great many of them – regardless of what any of the companies and personages thinks about it – are bringing crime, viruses, and economic disaster across with them. Our country is under siege, because of politicians refuse to speak out. Consider clicking on “The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration” http://www.usillegalaliens.com there is many other listings on this website that will inform you of the menace of illegal immigration.

Many advocates for immigration or open borders say that people who come here commit fewer crimes than Americans? But the simple fact is they are still here illegally and it makes little difference that American have criminals that are taken into custody everyday—but illegal aliens are not Americans.

I never trusted any government and their statistics. For a start I refuse to believe there are only 11.5 million illegal aliens in America. It’s only what the Census takers are led to believe? However, I do have credence in how much money is being scammed from State and Federal treasuries. Around $60 to 100 billion dollars a year in benefits, to people who shouldn’t be here sounds about right, given a few billion? If the Californian Health and Human services are dishing out $2.6 billion a year to foreign nationals, then how many are here illegally in the rest of our nation?

THAT’S WHY I AM VOTING FOR DONALD TRUMP NO MATTER WHAT. HIS VOICE, HOWEVER ROUGH IS OFFERING AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH? HOPEFULLY WE CAN STOP THE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION? SEVER THE BENEFITS TO ANY FOREIGN NATIONALS. REVIEW AND AMEND BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP AND ALSO REMOVE EVERY CRIMINAL CAUGHT THAT ARE GUILTY OF DRUNKEN DRIVING TO OF COURSE MURDER?
