America is Trying To Kill Me.

(ThyBlackMan.com) I want to share this with the american people, this is an issue that is personal to me and should be personal to all the rest of us because we all are victims of it. And this is what I have come to realize from experiencing it myself. The Power of Slander – is what can get a person killed, because within it lies the obsession to Control.

In America I cant have the name I want without it being ridiculed , I cant wear the clothes I want to wear without them being ridiculed. I cant wear the hairstyles that i want to wear, I cant be the weight size i want to be without being ridiculed. I cant have the intelligence that I want to have or the personality without them being ridicule and slandered. I cant listen to the types of music I like without it being ridiculed, I cant make a legal mistake without being forever condemned by it.

Others make mistakes and the whole group is considered just like that person – the bad apple syndrome. And that is a very powerful belief that one is just like the other – and that is something that all races and genders deal with.

I cant be young around elders because they feel I don’t know anything , and that puts me on the defensive and vise versa. I CANT, I CANT, I CANT, because someone else says so on every level of this society. And if you go outside of that you fall into another prison of weirdness , which leads right back to ridicule and slander.

And for me to be known as a Young Black Man – that wears what people have ” Labeled ” hip hop clothes. Automatically stereotypes are invoked as soon as people see me, so then I have to go about proving im not a slave, a nigger, a dog, a thug etc – which may never work. Because then their is the idea that everybody is running a con and trying to be something they are not.

Then I have a criminal record which invokes suspicion, and ridicule and slander – and makes me an easy target to be used as a escape goat for another criminal.

I have a mental illness, which invokes ridicule and slander , and makes others feel as though I am helpless in defending myself. And on the other hand can be used to say that I am a danger to society if I was forced to defend myself against those that feel I am weak because of it.

Lastly , I have what is ” Labeled ” A Muslim Name – which to me is Simply a Name. But the name Muhammad invokes stereotypes that the world gave it which leads to ridicule and suspicion and Slander. And it can be used to accuse me of things that could get me killed and people would believe it.

So you couple all of these things together and you have someone that society would not miss. But I am not the only one who is walking around covered in Damnation, my situation is universal and covers all races and genders, rich and poor – maybe just in a different form.

But everyone that lives in this country is a target for someones ridicule and suspicion, slander, and possibly even to be set up to be killed. No One is excluded from this even though many may believe that they are above this – but because of The Bad Apple Syndrome we all in some way are condemned.

And many wont admit it but , I AM AFRAID OF AMERICA ! ! !

This is why I am a firm supporter of my State of Florida’s ( Stand Your Ground Law )
