(ThyBlackMan.com) Puerto Rican reality TV star Evelyn Lozada was born and grew up on the tough streets of Bronx, New York. This ambitious young lady is more than just a pretty face, as she is also a contributor to OK! Magazine; where she covers the world of fashion. Her blog in the Huffington Post allows her to share her fitness expertise with readers. In addition she created her own line of cosmetics, serves as a PearlBrite Teeth Whitening spokeswoman and works as a youthH20 ambassador. Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada also co-owns a shoe shop/boutique, Dolce, which is located in Coral Gables, Florida.

In 2010 Evelyn Lozada made her reality show debut on “Basketball Wives.” This show chronicles the lives of five women (including Evelyn) that are married to, divorced from and dating men who play professional basketball.evelyn-lozada-carl-leo-crawford-lead-2014

Since June 2012 she has officially been a published author. Her book, “Inner Circle: The Wives Association,” and the follow up book, released in 2014 was a hit with readers and Evelyn’s fans. The books were works of fiction about a young female who gets married to a football star and starts “The Wives Association.”

In real life Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada was once engaged to Antoine Walker, a professional basketball player. After that 10 year relationship ended she moved on with Chad Johnson, a professional football player she married in July of 2012 and divorced in September of 2012.

By the end of 2013 she had moved onto Carl Crawford, an outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, whom she became engaged to last December. Since then the couple have had one son together.

Evelyn Lozada was angered by comments that talk show host Wendy Williams made referring to the birth of her son as “giving birth to a cash register.” Though Williams immediately stated that she shouldn’t have said that joke on air and sincerely congratulated Basketball Wives Evelyn on the birth of her son, the reality show star fired back via Twitter that not only does she never bother anyone she even sent flowers to Williams to congratulate her for her debut on Broadway.

On the same show in which Williams made the comment about Evelyn Lozada giving birth to her son she went on to offer the reality show star some advice. This advice involved telling fiancé Carl to help her open a location of her shoe boutique in Beverly Hills. Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada responded to Williams’s advice, on Twitter, by advising her to send her husband to Evelyn’s Beverly Hills boutique were she to open it so that he could buy shoes for another woman just as he had at her boutique in Florida.

Basketball Wives Evelyn Lozada is supporting her fiancé as he engages in a difficult custody battle with the mother of his two children.
