(ThyBlackMan.com) Reality television has gone and got real. Apollo Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives is headed down the river. Apollo Nida was sentenced to eight years of prison time for bank fraud and identity theft. On July 8th his sentence was handed down.

Folks are questioning if Real Housewives Of Atlanta Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks are going to make it. Will their marriage withstand not being together? Rumor has it that Parks will stick beside her man and continue to support him. It seems that she believes in the “til death do us part” portionphaedra-apollo-2014 of their marriage vows. Word is she’s already worried about their two boys growing up without their father. Well what mother would not be concerned?

Court documents state that Real Housewives Of Atlanta Apollo Nida was sentenced to 96 months in prison. This actually is much less than the maximum sentence, which could have been 30 years. Obviously Apollo Nida was blessed with good attorney. The judge seems to be making it easier for Phaedra to visit her husband.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Apollo was granted a huge break for ratting out his partners in crime. Deciding to snitch gained him an extra 22 years as a free man. This might seem like a lot, but it could have much worst.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Apollo Nida, who appears on the reality TV series with his wife Phaedra Parks, was arrested in January and pleaded guilty in May to charges in a fraud scheme that federal prosecutors say stole millions of dollars from at least 50 people over four years.

Nida created two fake collection companies to gather personal information used to steal victims’ identities. Information was used to obtain fraudulent auto loans in the names of his victims, according to the criminal complaint.

Apollo Nida is obviously hard headed. This is not the first time he has run into trouble with the law. Real Housewives Of Atlanta Apollo Nida previously served five years in a federal prison for auto title fraud before marrying Park. Apollo will also pay restitution and serve five years probation.

Hopefully he’ll think twice before deciding to launder 2.3 million through bank accounts.
