However, in the history of the rap world, there was this one person who started small and ended up with big fame. Keith Cozart who is also known as Chief Keef is America’s budding rapper from Illinois. He was given a chance to work with Interscope Records along 1017 Brick Squad. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Glory Boyz Entertainment.

Chief Keef was not your any other ordinary rappers. He finds contentment and satisfaction in music. He knows how lyrics can tame the odds and bring forth a good deal of opportunities for his career. The moment he was a part of Interscope, Chief Keef also handled the Glory Boyz Entertainment. This is a record label which is known to be subsidiary to his initial company. Young Chop, Lil Reese with Fredo Santana and Keef’s other musically inclined friends signed up for the Glory Boyz. This has been operational since 2011 but it does not act as a record company entirely. Glory focused on producing mixtapes which Keef is known to be famous for.

Life and Works

Chief Keef was born as KiethCozart in Chicago, Illinois. He spent his growing years in Englewood at the South Side. He enrolled at Dulles Elementary School and in a therapeutic school – the Banner School. He then focused on music so he dropped out at 15 years old. He initially worked with their home karaoke although he had owned blank tapeschief-keef-2014 where he used to record his songs.

YouTube was a great ally for Chief Keef. He took advantage of the internet and the site to post his creations. He believed that one big part of his career success was made possible by the World Wide Web. His music videos and mixtapes earned the attention of a lot of people. He was admired for his 3Hunna, Bang and I Don’t Like. He pushed for locally produced tapes before he was able to come up with I Don’t Like that made big success in Chicago.

Kanye West, who has an eye for budding talents, granted him attention, revised and remixed his songs along with rappers like Big Sean and Jadakiss. His musical success also paved the way for him to earn millions of dollars from his albums. Eventually, he was able to release his debut album which was entitled Finally Rich. This was with Rick Ross, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Lil Reese.

In 2012, Chief Keef released Love Sosa which was fortunate enough to be included in Grand Theft Auto’s soundtrack. At present, Keef is the newest fellow of 1017 Brick squad Records. He is currently enjoying his fame, writing his next hits and leading his way to another Billboard topnotch.
