(ThyBlackMan.com) Aubrey Drake Graham, most commonly known as Drake, is a Canadian rapper and actor. A lot of people know Drake from appearing on Degrassi: The Next Generation as the character Jimmy Brooks. His debut album Thank Me Later was released on June 15, 2010 and was a complete success. Thank Me Later debuted on the Billboard 200 as number one and attained platinum certification in Canada after only one week of release. Find Your Love and Over were both very successful singles from this album.

Drake is an impressive recording artist who has sold over five million albums all over the world. He has had an incredible twelve number one singles whichrap-drake is more than any other artist on the artist Billboard’s Rap Songs Chart. Drake not only writes his own songs for himself, but he also writes songs for other artists. He has written songs for Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx, and more.

Drake refers to Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Lil’ Wayne as his music influences and he says that Kanye is his biggest idol. Drake is famous for writing lyrics based on his past relationships, his fame, and his riches and are confident, dramatic, energetic, intense, reflective, and smooth. He is signed to Young Money Records, but Drake’s music sets him apart from other recording artists because he has a music style that is all his own.

This talented recording artist is only in his mid twenties and he already has so much to be proud of. He is not only a talented actor, but he is an exquisite lyricist, a smooth singer, and a great rapper. Drake has a lot going for him and a bright future ahead of him.

There is no question as to why he has millions of fans that look up to him. He really is not worried about taking risks and doing what he loves the most. Drake is not afraid of expressing his feelings and emotions through his lyrics. He is real proof that dreams really do come true if you work hard.
