Herman Cain: The Final Word…

(ThyBlackMan.com) would not blame Herman Cain if he said, Lloyd, I know you mean well brother. However, the relentless vitriolic media attacks against me have finally subsided since I dropped out of the presidential race. My family and I are finally having some peace. So, why on earth would you bring up my name again?

Well, in a nut shell, I just did not like the way the whole “Herman Cain Thing” went down. Also, we live in a fast paced news cycle, carelessly nuke a person’s life and in two days everyone has moved on, disposable world. Herman Cain’s courageous bid to serve his country deserves more than, “Herman Cain, wasn’t he the black dude sex fanatic who ran for president as a Republican?”

OK, Herman Cain is gone and we conservatives must focus on selecting our candidate to defeat Obama in 2012. I got it. But, it breaks my heart seeing  what happened to this “good man”. Herman Cain was attacked from both sides of the aisle. A few conservative pundits even accused Herman Cain of not seriously seeking the Oval Office, but simply seeking self-promotion.

Please do not get me wrong. I realize playing with the big boys in the national arena is tough. I just did not realize how much tougher and blatantly unfair it is for conservatives. As a conservative seeking to win the Republican presidential nomination, Herman Cain endured a deep rectal vetting not even required of our current president. As a matter of fact, we still know very little about Obama’s history.

Obama is a liberal. Thus, the liberal media deems probing Obama’s history, associations and even using his middle name to be racist.

As a black conservative myself, I was excited about black America meeting Herman Cain – a brilliant black businessman who loves God and country. Cain’s message was a refreshing breath of fresh air; a striking contrast to the absurd victim/entitlement minded garbage coming out of the mouths of too many successful rich blacks who say – Yes, we are multimillionaires, but America is still racist, sucks and owes us.

Unfortunately, here is how this great black role model was introduced to much of black America. My 84 year old dad phoned me, “Do you know this Herman McCain who is involved in all these sex scandals?” I replied, “His name is Herman Cain, dad”. I then proceeded to tell my dad about the great man I know.

Think about this folks, Herman Cain’s candidacy and reputation, in the minds of many, was destroyed by unproven “he said, she said” allegations. Please do not come back at me arguing about whether or not Herman Cain was qualified for the office. I am not talking about that. I am talking about the no-holds-barred, nothing-is-off-limits or over-the-top relentless campaign to destroy this decent man.

Good Lord, the allegations went from “possible” sexual gestures to Herman Cain supposedly forcibly reaching under a woman’s skirt. Since Herman Cain has dropped out of the race, all of his accusers are gone. Imagine that.

Something has gone terribly wrong in our country folks. Meanwhile, the mainstream liberal media are deaf, dumb and blind regarding all of the huge elephants in America’s living room unfavorable to Obama. Why? Because Obama is their rare Teflon ticket to making all of their progressive, anti-America and socialistic dreams come true.

While I “feel” for brother Cain, I am fully confident Herman Cain will be OK. Remember, Herman Cain beat cancer. Using his faith, character and infectious optimism, Herman Cain will find a way to make extraordinary lemonade using the Left’s lemons (their evil attacks against him).

Wow, I may have just come up with a brilliant Capitalistic, sorry Occupiers, entrepreneurial marketing idea. Famous Amos sells his cookies, Rush Limbaugh sells his tea; how about Herman Cain Lemonade?

Brother Cain, I just want to say one more time how much millions of us truly appreciated and thank you for stepping up to save our great country. You led the pack for a reason, your business sense, optimism, character and love for America. You and your family remain in our prayers.

Another reason I know Herman Cain will be OK is because referring to Christians, the Bible says, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper”.

I am sure the Left, Obama administration and the liberal media were dancing to the classic Martha Reeves and the Vandellas hit song, “Dancing In the Street”, the day Herman Cain withdrew from the race. But mark my words, God “ain’t” done with Herman Cain. Not only will his extraordinary life and story continue to positively impact millions, his success will reach unprecedented levels.

Take that you arrogant godless left-wingers. Lemonade anyone?

(Isiah 54:17) “But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken!”

I think it important that “these benefits are enjoyed by the servants of The Lord; . . .” I wouldn’t expect to enjoy these benefits if, periodically, I’m serving someone/something other than The Lord.

Cain 2012 should still continue. Sad, just sad that this great man was taken down with such low blows. Besides everyone knows what a slime ball Gingrich is and they don’t care about that. I understand that Cain is just one man but he had way too many people willing to take a chance on him to give up the fight against the Obama liberal agenda and even the conservatives that attacked him.

If nothing else, Cain 2016 should still be an option for someone who went from unknown in the political world, unlike these life time politcal giants, into a top runner for the GOP seat. I alway vote conservative and rarely GOP but I was willing to throw one his way!

Simply put..I miss Herman Cain. Without a doubt, America has missed a chance at greatness. I was extremely disappointed that he dropped out..but
do understand and respect his decision.

Herman Cain gave me hope…now that hope is gone.

@nick, luck is when opportunity meets preparation. There is no one in the good old boys network that has not had an extension to secure financing to close a business contract. Married couples living separate lives is nothing new that’s why we have a tax code that addresses the matter and the Obamas are a living testament to separate residences.

  5. nick says:

    @Just saying

I didn’t say the acquisition was based upon gross sales, I simply metnioned what the gross sales were. The actual point was that Cain was the right color,in the right place, at the right time, to benefit; and the chain was sold to him cheaply and without a broader marketing to other interested buyers. This is widely publicized. Humorously, even knowing he was acquiring at such a knockdown price, Cain still required an extension to the purchase contract as he could not arrange his financing in time.

As you’ve got back on my Cain train however:) Gloria and Herman are not what we traditionally view as a married couple, they lived largely separate lives, even having separate residences for some years. The unified married front they put up was electoral posturing for a conservative mandate. This truth perhaps explains Glorias willingness to “stand by her man.” What we may have seen as her public humiliation was simply a public affirmation of what she already privately knew.

Women are way too smart to not know what Gloria didnt know plus they have noses for marital money like a forensic accoutnant.

To cap it all, if I was a left wing gossip monger, I sure wouldn’t leak my scandal to Fox News first – that bastion of right wing negation.

The good news is that Herman is investigating the source of these “vile rumors” and no doubt we will all soon hear who started them……

Excellent article, Lloyd!! Obviously “TheTruthNow” is a racist since he states blacks are uneducated and can be tricked into thinking with common sense!! And Nick just has no clue at all about what a great businessman and good person Herman Cain is. “Nick” attempts to justify his own lack of integrity by convincing himself that all men act that way. Not true – Nick!! And anyone who has ever met Mr. Cain knows that the Ginger White allegation is not true. It was simply the media’s only way to try to get him out of the race. Make up stories, pay women to lie, repeat it and keep embelleshing each time – some folks will start to believe it. No need for it to be true!!

  7. just saying says:

@nick, smart business people such as Herman Cain do not make acquisitions based on gross sales. They analyze a company’s financials and their decision is based on the bottom line. The ball was dropped on this one. In my humble opinion, Herman Cain was the BEST choice for ALL of America if it is truly the ECONOMY.

  8. nick says:

Cain was an embarrassment. There was no left wing campaign to derail him. His past derailed him – he has a problem with women. Ms. Ginger White was clearly telling the truth and our Herman was clearly lying through his teeth.

Proof? If your husband comes home with lipstick on his collar and some panties in his pocket does this mean he was with another woman? No it doesn’t but c’mon, get real. Also, it is hilarious that people believe he is innocent after giving such large sums of money to her for such a long period of time. Men don’t do that unless they are getting laid – period.

Cain was not a successful businessman, he was a lucky business man who benefitted greatly from anti discrimination laws. For those that disagree please explain why Godfathers Pizza was sold to him for $50M when it was grossing $250M?

Our public support for people like this simply re-affirms to white folks that we are not rational, objective people and will support a particular candidate simply because they are black.

His candidacy was an ignoble disgrace and I wish he would just go away

  9. TheTruthNow says:

It’s time for the real controllers of thyblackman.com to admit the truth that this is a right wing website intended to indoctrinate and trick uneducated blacks to support hard right wing politicians, with the constant nonstop barrage of Ron Paul advertisement. No self respecting black man or women would stoop to that level.

  10. Nicholas says:

The writer is still trying to share the spotlight Herman Cain was able to shine on himself. I know Cain will be OK too, but for different reasons than what put forth in this article. Cains run for GOP presidential nomination was a complete farce. He never intended to be a serious candidate, and he was suprised to have lasted as long as he did. Cain was out to sell his book and collect contributions for his campaign. He never did invest in any state campaign organizations or a national campaign headquarters instead he went around the country speaking at book stores, signing books and makeing one low budget television commercial. Note that he only suspended his campaign, so he can still collect contributions. This writer has the nerve to try to put the blame for Cain’s plight, on the left-wing media, he said she said alligations and god-less left wingers. Herman got more then he set out to get, so he will be OK.

  11. Jeannie says:

That’s what he get for messing with white woman

  12. Macey says:

Oh please…im glad that uncle tom is gone…not one time during his run did he reach out to blacks…now all of a sudden he wants to go on bet….GOOD RIDDANCE….

  13. Sakina Mengle says:

Thanks Marcus! I am still very upset at Herman Cain’s candidacy being derailed by unproven accusations! America just messed up on this one. I don’t like how Cain’s supporters did not pause, think, and process why he was being targeted in such a vicious way. I was willing to fight for him, but he pulled out before I could implement my plan for his campaign. I am anxiously waiting to hear Cain’s plan B!!
