(ThyBlackMan.com) There is a song by gospel recording artist, J.Moss, which speaks to the testament of being in the favor of GOD. “We Must Praise,” speaks to everyone who has been blessed with the gift of life and talents. If you are in need of a spiritual healing, love, or companionship as an African-American male, GOD has been waiting on you.

Guiding Light

There are over 3.5 million single black mothers in the United States. If you are fatherless, there is always someone to help you through your journey in life:  GOD. — “A wise son make a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother,” (Proverbs 10:1).

Fellowship

As the saying goes, an idle mind is the devil’s play area. Being around other individuals who are religious can increase your faith and steer you in the right direction. – “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them,” (Ephesians 5:11).

Relationship

There is no better relationship than having one with God first, acknowledging his existence in your life will help your relationships grow. –“For he himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,” (Ephesians 2:14).

Communion

Accepting God as your savior and realizing that to know him— you must commune with him on a daily basis is one of the important steps in understanding his grace/mercy.  – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God,” (Romans 12:2).

Judgment

There is time to do many things on this earth. However, do remember, it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God,” (Romans 14:11).

–There is no friend like Jesus, to have him, and his father on your team—makes life so much easier. Give in and let him take control over your life. As a black man in America today, you need his mercy/favor. God’s grace, and mercy, endures forever.
