(ThyBlackMan.com) Reading the mainstream liberal press, one might be brainwashed to believe Obama is the Messiah incarnate and Republicans are spawns of Satan. All this garbage talk that somehow Tea Party members of Congress brought America to the brink of default and are collectively responsible for the country receiving its first credit downgrade is asinine at best and pathetic at worst. It’s embarrassingly indicative of a president without a compass, who along with his Democrat protectors of the welfare state, refuse to take responsibility for his failed policies of endless spending and face reality that the US piggy bank is bankrupt.
What’s more startling than the mainstream liberal media blaming Tea Party conservatives for the country’s fiscal woes is New York Times reporter Joe 
Nocera referring to Tea Party members of Congress as “terrorists” who wore “suicide vests” and “waged jihad on the American people.” Comparing members of Congress to terrorists is reprehensible but of course this received zero condemnation from the news media because it was a liberal reporter lambasting Republicans. We all know if a Wall Street Journal reporter had compared left wing Democrats to terrorists, the mainstream liberal news media would never let Republicans hear the end of it.
Under Obama’s rule as president, the media seems to have created a more brazen, biased standard of political reporting: wage freedom of speech war on the “right wing nuts” but treat the left wing liberals with angelic, kid gloves. Newsweek’s cover story on GOP presidential candidate and Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann featured a demonizing photo of a possessed looking Bachmann with the caption “The Queen of Rage.”
Demonstrating the grotesque level of bias exhibited by Newsweek, even the National Organization for Women (NOW), one of the most liberal groups on the planet, condemned the photo as “sexist.” Duh!!! NOW\’s President , Terry O’Neill said even though her goal is to ensure Bachmann doesn’t become president, she “defended Bachmann against these kind of misogynistic attacks,” because “good women will not run for office if Newsweek magazine can do this to such a prominent politician and get away with it.”
But the liberal press keeps hacking away at prominent conservative politicians, just as they did when Rep. Allen West told Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in an email to insult him to his face or “shut up.” The liberal hounds and their media stewards demanded West apologize to Wasserman Schultz which he appropriately refused to do. I’ll bet the ranch on it that if the roles were reversed and little Debbie said the same thing to Rep. West, the mainstream leftist media would have heaped praises on Debbie.
The underlying theme to this jihad the liberal press is waging on conservatives of all stripes (GOP and Tea Party) is “right wing politicians are always to blame for Barack Obama’s failures as president.” President George W. Bush is top on the blame list for the lousy state of our economy, even though he didn’t spend trillions on Obamacare, failed stimulus, auto and Freddie and Fannie bailouts.
The anger Americans feel toward this president for policies that have driven the country toward the precipice of economic disaster are blamed on Michelle Bachmann because she stirs up the rage in people. Then the Tea Party members of Congress are called “radical” and “irresponsible because they refused to give Obama more money to raise the debt ceiling to fund a welfare state which is bankrupt. And of course Obama’s advisers and the press blamed the Tea Party for the downgrade of the US credit rating.
This blame game is growing as hackneyed as Obama’s refusal to take responsibility for his actions. After jacking up our debt to $14.3 trillion, securing a downgrade of the nation’s debt for the first time in history, driving unemployment to 9.2%, it’s clear where the blame for the country’s state rest: squarely on President Obama’s shoulders.
