(ThyBlackMan.com) Many of you may have seen the childhood film Pinocchio which had a little wooden boy listening to a “conscience” depicted as a little bug named Jiminy Cricket. This cricket was to lead Pinocchio in the right ways so that he would not get into trouble. Of course, Pinocchio disobeyed and got into lots of trouble, but as we know the story had a happy ending. We as Christians have the guidance of the Holy Spirit which is who we are supposed to be listening to in order to be successful and stay out of unnecessary trouble. Oftentimes, we act just like the little boy and disobey by listening to the wrong voices and end up in worse situations than we have to. Not unlike the little boy though, we have a happy ending as well. It is up to us to fulfill that ending by being obedient to our “conscience”. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” –Jeremiah 29:11

So who and what are we listening to? The Bible says “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” -1 Corinthians 15:33. Are we listening to people that are giving us their own opinions not based on the word of God? Are we hanging around a person that does not care what comes out of his or her mouth? If so, we may become just like these individuals if we are not careful. We cannot allow the words of a stranger to take root in our spirits. Many of us start out on the right path, but get influenced by the wrong voices or when we mingle with the wrong crowd as the word says “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?” — Galatians 5:7. What and who we surround ourselves with can often try to overcome the person that God has really called us to be. Negative people and things in our environment are merely distractions. Satan does not want you to reach your full potential so he wants to distract you from the word of God by any means necessary. The Bible warns of Satan’s tactics “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.” -John 10:10. The Lord wants us to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers is what the scripture tells us in 3 John. He desires that we listen to his words in order to complete his will and live a full life.

Where do certain thoughts and ideas come from? Some of the evil out in the world today could not just come without some form of influence or suggestion from an evil spirit. That is why we must manage our thoughts and as the word says “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” –2 Corinthians 10:5. Do not listen to these evil voices that only want your death and destruction.

So, should you take advice from your loved ones? Well first off if they are not saved and working on renewing their minds on a daily basis, then no, probably not. It is okay to take advice from people sometimes, but what did God say about the situation? If you do take advice from someone be sure that it is based on the word of God. Even with that though, the final say should come from up above through what is called a “rhema” or spoken word from God. We should be consulting with him first and sometimes keeping his instructions completely to ourselves, until he tells us otherwise.

Are we being brainwashed by music and movies? I personally think it is okay to take in a movie from time to time, but there has to be a balance. The things that we allow to go into our minds can try to attach themselves to our spirit. If we are going to watch certain things we must be careful not to meditate on the negative things that some films portray such as illicit sex, violence, profanity etc.. I know for sure that music is powerful. I can remember where I was and sometimes what I was doing at a certain period of my life when certain songs are played. That proves just how much music can influence you. It can change your mood tremendously. If the song is sad it can make you cry. If it is upbeat it can make you happy and dance. If it is fast and intense it could make you angry. Some songs can even entice you to engage in sexual behavior. That is how strong music can be. Of course music can be very powerful on the positive side as well. Gospel music can make you cry tears of joy or shout with a voice of triumph! Either way it is a force that you cannot deny has merit and must be enjoyed appropriately.

It’s one thing to watch the films and listen to the music of artists, but what happens when we start listening to their beliefs and ideas? We must be careful when we receive some of the information coming from some of these people because we do not know what’s in their hearts. The word says “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” — Luke 6:45. If an artist is talking about what he or she believes and it does not line up with the Bible we must not entertain those opinions. Their opinions are being framed by their surroundings and what they are exposed to which could be anything in the world i.e. drugs, alcohol, atheists or whatever else. You have to stand for something or you will fall for anything.

A lot of times we idolize famous people and aspire to be like them. Why? Do we feel that they are an inspiration in some way? Maybe. The bottom line is that we should be getting our inspiration from that word of God and other Christians. Jesus should be an inspiration to us, look at all that he did. He OVERCAME DEATH, HELL, and THE GRAVE. If that is not an inspiration then I don’t know what is. I think I’m gonna roll with Jesus! Of course there will always be great people to use as examples, but we should never worship those people. We should understand that anything good that comes from a person comes from above.

In conclusion, we must keep our ears clean and ready to hear from God. Hatred, strife, and envy are all things that could cloud up our hearing. Put all of these thoughts and emotions away from you in order to receive clear instructions from heaven. It is the only way to live the BEST life God has planned for you. In Jesus name Amen!

“In the beginning God Created the heaven and the earth.” – [Out of the Silence of the Creator’s substance, “the law of the Spirit of conscious awareness” expressed Its essence]. “And the earth was without form, void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” [And the Principled Substance and Patterned Essence was yet without the vision of Order of The Voice’s spoken intent, purpose and will]. “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” [And God’s omniety flowed equally in length, breadth, and height]. “And God said: Let their be light.” [And God’s conscious awareness began to shine out of the darkness]. “And there was light.” [And the Structure of all the Cosmo, dimensions, realm, degrees became the ever renewing, ever unfolding expression of the infinity of Itself].
What have you been made aware of today? What you are consciously aware of today, and have instituted as a part of your living today is the continuum of your established thoughts you project and demonstrate to others. Each demonstration a man displays from that which he is aware of is an offshoot branch stemming from beliefs unstated with postscripts of self illusions and self-righteous interpretations of what the human mind has illogically issued forth to other men of God’s original intent of man’s purpose to be. This is the foolishness of man’s thinking, and the vanity of his ignorance to the truth that the foundation for all creation is the essence of Love. That the essence of love is the purpose of God expansion beyond the eternal bubble of the human mind.
God’s love is not an emotion. God’s love does not have attached to it all the baggage men have deemed necessary for love to operate and enhance their lives. Any and all human baggage of interpreted human thinking mean men have diminished loves intent and cut off loves ability to “bear all things, believe all things, hopeth all things, endure all things.” Love needs no conditions to be, or to be fulfilled, because grace and peace be multiplied though-out and within the omnipresent of “the law of the Spirit of life” according to the harmony and unconditioned “knowledge given unto us of all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue, by which are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2Pet.1:2-40).
There is no power in the human mind and human thought process. All which men consider to be a power comes from the invisible moving spirit of the thoughts they have given life to simply by their thinking, and speaking the words of their thoughts as conclusive visions of their finalized eternal interpretations. Whatsoever men thinks, therefore, is foundational upon that which they have inherited from, and been taught by their ancestors and contemporaries from infant to maturity, in terms of good and evil, and are manifested because of this inheritance and human teaching which is project into the minds of children and adults alike by the spirit of their lack of knowledge.
Because man’s thoughts come from a base of human knowledge and not from Spirit discernment as purposed before man’s beginning, sometimes man’s mood conclusion are up, and other times down. Because man live in a vortex between two worlds – good/evil, positive/negative, and cause/effect -, they believe they have an understanding of reasoning and meaning concerning the present moment. However, in this belief, “the law of the Spirit of Christ” voids any and all of man’s human reasoning, meaning and explanations for his continuous dualistic believes in all his partial prejudices, hate, pride, guilt, and those unforgiving dispositions he exhibits of the above attitudes, and their opposites.
There is a reason for man’s self-righteous religious thoughts and attitudes. That reason is man does not realize the law of Christ is the underlining foundation of all He taught, and the source which allows man’s seed to harbor the traits governing his universal human domain. Men do not understand the meaning of Jesus’ words: “But I say unto you that every idle word that man shall speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment,” means every moment is a continuum of the law by which they have sat in motion and must abide and live by, for “as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” (Mt.12:36 – Num.14:28). And because the heart is wicked and deceitful in all its ways, it rises and falls like waves upon the sea in three dimensional motion while governing each dimension of their human mind, body and soul by principles and patterns of good and evil.
Here is a truth to be considered. What does it matter who you are in this world, or whether your position of living is high, mediocrity, or on life’s lowest ebb? What does it matter how devoted you are to man, woman, child, group, denomination, church or reading Scripture, or if you believe in God if you have not been anchored, in your mind, in the Principle and Pattern of love which is your essence? If you are not anchored in the mind of Christ, and demonstrate continuously His commandment to “have no other gods before me,” and therefore insure your “loving thy neighbor as thyself,” then you are found wanting:without form and void” of the truth of love which will set you free from the entomed world of your own reflection you have made, built upon, believe and exist within.
What also must be considered, it is not enough for man to say he believes in God and expect God’s grace to flow into, around and through him, for somewhere I read that the father of lies also believed in God but still was found wanting. Neither does faith in God bring fulfillment of Spirit if Jesus’ footsteps have not become the place of ones stepping, and obedience to “give diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge, and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control patience, and to patience godliness, and to godliness, brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
In all man’s self-righteous indignation he has failed to stop and ask himself: – Of all that any man has learned and accomplished in their moment of living, irrespective of the heights, depth and barrens, what has life given to me which it has not give to every man,woman and child equally? What are you aware of? Certainly not you were Spirit formed, and are continuously expressing as that Spirit form as the ever renewing, ever unfolding expressing of infinity life. If you, as I, were aware all forms visible and invisible are that of the Principle Substance and Patterned Essence of Spirit, any speculation of unsubstantiated opines, theories, and ideals, as presented here, would not be and event of activity of achievement or failure according to our intent and purpose of expressed thought spoken, which manifest as our individual living attitudes and styles.
Never will any individual be able to find the will of his individual God of life within himself unless he realize he is the consciousness of the conscious of the Spirit of his own conscious awareness. “I in the midst of thee am mighty.” And in this realization become obedient to the will of his individual God within himself by expressing unconditional love to his brothers, sisters, and the living Nature of all creation irrespective of the form. For as you and I, all the known and unknown subject objects we are aware of came to be by the same Source. What that Source is is unknown. As long as men continue to abide in the world of ‘pairs’ and believe their human minds and spiritst are capable of manipulating these ‘pairs’ to be expressed in terms of good and evil, man will continue to live and die in his own reflecting world of human-hood as he pass onto his thought children the tenets of his living, and his belief that there is a power in existence strong enough to oppose That which created him.
There has never been, in the history of man, a form visible of a God for the human mind to bear witness too, nor explain beyond each man’s relativity of his own images imagined because “God is a Spirit. . .he hath no form nor comeliness.” Why is this? Because man judges everything by sight and feeling of opposites because he believes his conscious awareness is totally dependent upon his outer objective vision, and inner subjective feelings, therefore man believes he is independent of and from, “the law of the Spirit of life.” This cause man to believe he is only human and lives completely in the collective human mentality which expresses only his human spirit of power, knowledge, wisdom, lust, lies, and manipulation. Everything man does is done in the spirit of his human interpreted theories, opinions, concepts and beliefs, which in and of itself proves man lives by the invisibility of the movement of his spirit of thought conclusions. The crux of the matter is this, there is one Spirit of Consciousness which is the Source for all spirit emanations to express themselves whether man understands it or not. And regardless of man’s individual belief, he does not comprehend he has no other choice but to serve This Spirit.
Men do not care about serving a God of Spirit. And so they will remain in the darkness of their ignorance, as will their children, believing all that “the law of the Spirit of life” requires of them is to go to church, synagogue, mosque, joss house, the pantheon and shrines to receive teaching of men who breath, as their breath, is in their nostrils, and who are seeking the exact same meaning and comprehension of being as they are with the unrealistic hope their moments of devotion, prayer and works of benevolence will appease God and earn them a spot on His roster. Steadfast in ignorance they will remain as their children and the world of their interpretations, because they refuse to accept and acknowledge their Principle Substance and Patterned Essence is issued forth from within the Godhead of Consciousness. And because they refuse to believe this is so, they will never reach the understanding all things deemed to be invaluable or invalid to their living in their human bodies keeps them glued to the idealism the pairs of opposites are no ilusive products of their own reflecting three dimensional human minds.
Anything men speak out of their mouths therefore is already a finalized thought of their thinking and beliefs stemming from their dependency of their outer objectives visions and inner subjective feelings.
