Let us as fathers…
Pursue the Lord with all our hearts so our children may be challenged by the potential of loving the God we pursue and pursuing the God we know.
Seek refuge in the God of hope so our children may know that hope in God is 
something to cherish instead of criticize, claim instead of condemn, and applaud as opposed to avoid.
Express great joy in the privilege of knowing the God we serve so our children may discover living in the way of His grace instead of slowly suffocating under the weight of duty without delight, performance without fulfillment, and labor without reward.
Always exalt the wisdom of God more than the foolishness of men so our children may value truth more than what seems right and living right more than living without boundaries.
Strive to respect the God-given dignity of all men so our children may love the men He loves instead of pride fully judging those He came to seek, serve and save.
Celebrate often the goodness of God so our children may view life through the eyes of grace, love the life they see, and rejoice because they are able to see it!
Long for the realization of His presence so our children may discern that being a Christ-follower is infinitely more about relating positively to Jesus than logging in the required minutes of study, gaining the latest break-through insights on how to live a successful Christian life, or stacking up a 100% attendance record at the approved meeting of choice.
